Family Preparedness Campaign

Hillmer created two preparedness campaigns for The Department of Treasury Office of Emergency Programs (OEP). This campaign focused on family preparedness for all Treasury employees. Using the typical family game night as the foundation for the messaging and visual elements, the campaign materials included a poster and fact sheets to be distributed to all Treasury employees.

Part of this campaign included the development of "Buck" — a well-informed dollar bill who is always prepared and ready to share his tips with readers. Buck is featured in a puzzle book for Treasury employees to use as a way to reinforce emergency preparedness to their children in a fun way. A word-find, crossword puzzle, hidden object scene and a maze all focus on what it takes to be prepared.
